This Sub-class includes: •the provision of residential and personal care services for children to ensure the needs of the children are met when they cannot live with their own family •these services include providing a place for children to develop and grow, food, shelter and space for play and leisure •the activities may be carried out by public or private organisations Units in this Sub-class are primarily engaged in one or more of the following: •orphanages •children’s boarding homes and hostels
