Account & Subscription

How usage counts are calculated?
Each click on 'Start Conversion' that successfully returns a precise match from the underlying engine counts as one usage. Your quota will not be deducted for requests that fail due to network timeouts or service disruptions. Guests are granted a total of 1 usage, and registered users receive 10 total usages. For members, the usage quota resets automatically every day.
Does the platform support issuing corporate invoices?
Yes, we can issue compliant official invoices to corporate clients.
What payment methods are supported?
Current Support: International credit cards (Visa, Payoneer), WeChat Pay, and Alipay. All transactions are processed via SSL encryption.
Can I cancel anytime?
Cancel anytime with no cancellation fees. You will retain access to your features until the end of the current billing cycle, after which your account will automatically downgrade to the Registered User version.
What is the dedicated channel?
Premium requests leverage a dedicated high-performance cluster. During peak hours, your exclusive access ensures response times that are 3 to 5 times faster than standard shared access.
Do the 10 free credits expire?
No Expiration. The 10 complimentary conversion credits provided upon registration are valid permanently until exhausted.

API Integration

How do I obtain an API access key (token)?
The API is currently under testing and development; please feel free to contact us if you encounter any issues.

Business Applications & Due Diligence

Can the conversion results from GlobalCodeLink be directly used for financial consolidation or cross-border compliance filings of listed companies?
Our underlying data closely follows the latest releases from the UN Statistics Division and national statistical bureaus, providing an excellent automated classification reference. However, please note that tax, customs, and securities regulatory authorities in various countries may incorporate dynamic factors such as the proportion of a company's primary revenue when making final industry determinations. Therefore, the platform's mapping results serve as a powerful tool to significantly enhance your upfront due diligence efficiency, while final legal or tax filings must still be confirmed in conjunction with your company's actual financial audit reports.
For ambiguous mapping results marked as "Partial", what processing suggestions do you provide?
When dealing with supply chain ESG alignment or credit assessment, if you encounter "Partial" mapping results, the system typically includes detailed【Remarks/Notes】. We recommend that data analysts open the detail page of the target code to compare its core business definition, or use the API to export all related results for weighted evaluation, rather than simply performing a one-to-one replacement.

Standards & Mapping

What mainstream industry classification standards are currently supported for conversion?
The platform deeply supports conversions among core global data standards, including UN ISIC (Rev.4/Rev.5), China GB/T 4754-2017, US NAICS 2022, EU NACE (Rev.2/Rev.2.1), Singapore SSIC (2020/2025). Our mapping coverage for leaf nodes (the most granular industries) exceeds 99%.
What do relationship types like "Exact Match" and "Partial Overlap" mean in the conversion results?
Due to significant differences in cross-border industrial structures, absolute 1-to-1 correspondence is rare. To ensure data rigor, we provide four mapping indicators: Exact (1-to-1 equivalent), Broad (source is a subset of the target), Split (1-to-many mapping), and Partial (overlapping concepts but not fully inclusive). This helps your data analysts make more accurate categorization decisions.
Is your crosswalk mapping data from official sources?
We prioritize official crosswalks published by national statistical agencies or the UN (Official). For cross-border local standards lacking official crosswalks, we rigorously derive mappings through international core hub standards (Derived), or generate them via AI-assisted analysis and manual review to ensure the continuity and authority of the mapping links.
How do you achieve high-precision conversion between two local standards (e.g., China GB/T to US NAICS) when there is no officially published crosswalk?
We have built an underlying "Hub-and-Spoke" mapping network. When there is no direct correspondence between two national standards, the system uses core international benchmarks like UN ISIC as intermediary bridges to perform rigorous derived mapping calculations. This is combined with expert review to ensure the continuity and logical consistency of the cross-border mapping links.
I found multiple possible matching codes in the target standard (a 1-to-many split). How do I determine which one I actually need?
We provide highly granular data support on the industry code detail pages. Beyond basic definitions, you can review officially published "Includes", detailed "Index Entries" (specific products/services), and crucially, "Excludes". The excludes explicitly point out where easily confused, similar activities should be classified, helping you quickly resolve categorization dilemmas.
When a standard is updated (e.g., European NACE Rev. 2 upgraded to 2.1), can the old codes still be converted?
Yes. The platform's data dictionary preserves the historical evolution tracks of the standards. You can freely select your starting version (e.g., explicitly choosing NACE Rev. 2), and the system can not only convert it to other countries' standards but also perform cross-period mappings between different historical versions of the same standard.
Why can I see the details of some countries' standards in the directory, but cannot use them for code conversion?
To maintain the highest level of data quality, we implement "Tiered Capability Release" for our standard library. For some newly introduced national standards, the basic tree directory and details may already be online for your reference. However, if the underlying cross-border mapping models are still in the AI calculation and manual verification phase, we will temporarily disable them as mapping sources or targets. Once the leaf-node coverage meets our strict criteria, the conversion capabilities will be unlocked immediately.
Does the system provide translations if I do not understand the original language of a foreign standard (e.g., Vietnamese VSIC or Indonesian standards)?
National industry classification standards involve highly precise terminology related to national economic statistics and legal definitions. To ensure absolute data accuracy for cross-border due diligence and compliance reporting, the platform currently provides these standards only in their original, officially published languages (such as Vietnamese or English).

Security & Privacy Protection

Will my business query data be saved by the system?
We strictly comply with global data privacy regulations. We will never permanently store, analyze, or share your business query conversion details with third parties.
