Goods-producing activities of households for own use

This class includes subsistence goods-producing activities of households. These activities include farming and breeding (these activities are not specified in the survey of agriculture, forestry and fisheries section, and production of household goods such as: baskets, clothing, hats and other goods for own subsistence. If households are principally engaged in a specific goods-producing subsistence activity, they are classified to the goods-producing activity of households for own use.

If households are also engaged in the production of marketed services, they shall be classified to the appropriate manufacturing industry of Vietnam’s industrial classification system.
