This sub-class includes: - loading and unloading of goods or passengers’ luggage irrespective of watercraft and other means of transport via rivers, lakes, canals; - stevedoring.

This sub-class excludes: operation of river ports, see 52222 (Service activities incidental to sea and coastal transportation).
