This sub-class includes: - processing of tobacco leaves into tobacco yarns; - manufacture of tobacco and tobacco products: cigarettes; - manufacture of “homogenized” or “reconstituted” tobacco.

This sub-class excludes: - growing of tobacco, see 01150 (Growing of tobacco, pipe tobacco). - preliminary processing of tobacco, see 01630 (Post-harvest crop activities).
