Florists

This industry comprises establishments generally known as florists primarily engaged in retailing cut flowers, floral arrangements, and potted plants grown elsewhere. These establishments may prepare the arrangements they sell.

Retailing flowers or nursery stock grown on premises--are classified in Industry 11142, Nursery and Floriculture Production; and Retailing trees, shrubs, plants, seeds, bulbs, and sod grown elsewhere--are classified in Industry 444240, Nursery, Garden Center, and Farm Supply Retailers.
