This Sub-class includes engineering design and consultancy activities not elsewhere classified like: •fire engineering design •marine transport equipment (e.g. ships, boats) engineering design •safety engineering design •engineering services related to the design of air and space transport equipment (e.g. airplanes, space transport vehicles) •engineering services related to the design of land transport equipment (e.g. motor vehicles, trains) •engineering services related to the design of electronic equipment (e.g. handphones, computers) and other electronic components •engineering services related to the design of electrical equipment (e.g. lighting, household appliances) and components thereof Units in this Sub-class are primarily engaged in one or more of the following: •engineering design (i.e. applying physical laws and principles of engineering in the engineering project) services for engineering projects that are not covered under SSIC 71121 to 71126. Other services related to the engineering project may be provided as well, for example: provision of advice related to engineering principles and methods, preparation of feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and final plans and designs, provision of technical services during the construction or installation phase, inspection and evaluation of the project. •engineering technical consultancy services (i.e. provision of advice to clients regarding engineering principles and methods) for engineering projects that are not covered under SSIC 71121 to 71126 •engineering project development and management for engineering projects that are not covered under SSIC 71121 to 71126
