This Sub-class includes the activities of postal services operating involving the conveyance of letters and/or postal articles through the postal service infrastructure. This economic activity may require a Postal Services Operator’s licence that is issued by the Info-communications Media Development Authority or its equivalent. Units in this Sub-class are primarily engaged in one or more of the following: •receiving, collecting, sorting, sending, despatching and delivering (domestic and international) of postal articles (i.e. letter-post and parcel-post) and any other related services - items delivered can include letters, postcards, printed papers (newspaper, periodicals, advertising items, etc.), small packets, goods or documents of up to 2kg only. - one or more modes of transport may be involved and the activity may be carried out with either self-owned (private) transport or via public transport •collection of postal articles from the postal network, such as public letter-boxes or from post offices •distribution and delivery of postal articles
